Nutralife Laboratories of Anaheim, California, sent out many thousands of an eight page brochure full of false information and promoting a fraudulent so-called "oral chelation" formula. This is the last page of this 8-page brochure. It contains references to many studies -- but when you examine them you find that NONE of them support the claim that their so-called "oral chelation" formula based on EDTA has any validity. In fact these are mostly false references -- attempts to support a product that is not mentioned in the studies at all. This page is reproduced from an OCR Scan -- meaning that the page is produced in text that can be read and arranged as regular text on this page. After the scan was completed, some manual corrections had to be completed.
Some of these studies could not even be found in a search of the 7,000,000 document search database of "Medlines." They may exist, but there is every possibility that some of these were included on the basis that the "study" could not be found and thus the fraud could not be exposed.
Some of the studies below have had, inserted in blue print, comments about the studies which were found, usually with links to the actual study.
Ammon, H.P, et al. (1981). "Crataegus: toxicology and pharmacology." Planta Medica, 43(2):101-120, 318-322.
FALSE CLAIM: There is no listing of this author for ANY scientific study from 1981 through 1998. Apparently a completely false claim. If the study does exist in published form it has not been reviewed within the normal routine of acceptable scientific studies, or published among the 7,000,000 scientific studies in the Medlines database.

FALSE CLAIM: Dr. Donsbach, of course, is the acknowledged originator of the term "oral chelation," back in 1985 or so. I know Dr. Donsbach personally, and know his formula very well.
